Rhonda Currie
Fundraising Director
Rhonda holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Eastern Illinois University and a Master’s Degree from Olivet Nazarene University. She began her professional career in Champaign with the Girl Scouts Green Meadows Council now entitled Girl Scouts of Central Illinois (GSCI). While at GSCI, Rhonda specialized in outreach with youth, collaboration with community partners, and reporting. Her interest in helping her community led Rhonda back to her hometown of Kankakee, IL where she served in various roles such as Community Organizer, Community Youth Worker, Outreach Specialist, Field Representative, and Field Supervisor since 2013. During this time, Rhonda also served as a fundraiser for ICCS through various efforts. In 2024, Rhonda was awarded the Inaugural Woman of the Year by Delta Alpha Omicron Zeta’s chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, incorporated for her work in Madison County, Illinois. Rhonda’s enthusiasm and efforts in various communities has been seen by many and has aided in maintaining relationships with the communities that ICCS serves. Rhonda is very excited to serve as a member of the Executive Team of ICCS in a new role that she believes will bring more opportunities to support the communities that we serve.
